Performance Driven Marketing of Idaho has been nominated in the marketing category of Idaho’s Best. Idaho’s Best Awards is the state’s largest and most trusted “Best of” program. It is designed to highlight and recognize the best companies and places

We are excited to be nominated as we strive to provide the best services and support for our clients. 

The Idaho’s Best Difference

 Idaho’s Best stands out from other “best of” programs because:

  • It utilizes Better Business Bureau (BBB) ratings to validate results
  • It has its own proprietary software to help eliminate human errors (and cheaters)
  • Votes and review counts are divided across the number of locations a candidate has
  • There are regional awards, so candidates don’t have to only compete on a state level 
  • Candidates don’t have to pay to participate, and sponsorships don’t buy wins
  • Small companies have as much of a chance of winning as large ones 

Candidates must have an Idaho address and a published Google My Business profile to be considered.

How it Works

Idaho’s Best Awards have four stages that span several months. 

Stage 1 — Nominations 

Idaho residents can nominate an eligible candidate, and candidates can nominate themselves. Up to three candidates per category per region are announced. Nominations are subject to approval by Inbound Systems to ensure they’re in a relevant category. 

Stage 2 — Voting

Voting lasts about two weeks. To keep it fair and reliable, residents are restricted to one vote per category. Nominees are encouraged to share the voting page via email, social media, radio ads, etc. Nominees cannot incentivize or pay for votes or reviews. 

The top nominees with the highest score in each category move on to stage 3. 

Stage 3 — Reputation 

During this stage, Idaho’s Best references data from the BBB to ensure finalists don’t have a score lower than a B-.  They also count online reviews over the last year. Finalists are announced based on this formula: Five-Star Reviews x Overall Rating + Votes. The more five-star reviews received, the better the chances of winning. 

Stage 4 — Winners 

Winners are announced at the Idaho’s Best Awards Ceremony in downtown Boise. For those unable to attend the event, winners will also be posted on the Idaho’s Best website within a few business days.

Facebook ads promise big results: more leads, more visibility, and more sales. Yet many business owners walk away frustrated, wondering why their ads burned through their budget with little to show for it.

Many ads talk too much about the company and not enough about the customer. When people scroll on Facebook, they ask themselves:

  • “What’s in this for me?”
  • “Does this solve my problem?”
  • “Why should I care right now?”

If your ad leads with features instead of benefits, your audience will likely ignore it.  You should speak directly to your audience’s pain points, desires, or goals, and show how you can help them with your services. 

3. Weak or Confusing Creative

Facebook is a visual-first platform. If your image or video doesn’t stop someone scrolling, nothing else you do will work. Common creative mistakes include:

  • Stock photos that feel generic 
  • Cluttered graphics with too much text
  • Videos that take too long to get to the point
  • No clear visual focus 

Use eye-catching visuals, strong contrast, and clear messaging. If using video, get to the point within the first three seconds of a video. Consider also using real people using your product, or before and after comparisons. 

4. The Copy Lacks a Clear Message

Great visuals need to be backed by clear, engaging copy. Ads fail when:

  • The headline is vague
  • The offer isn’t obvious
  • The call-to-action is weak or missing
  • The message is convoluted and does too much at once
